Chapati Nachos: Try The Fancy Leftover Recipe
Leftover chapatis are a little dry and therefore they make better crispy nachos. Chapati Nachos, nachos are our favorite, right? When on long drives, watching movies, and on picnic with kids. But we really can’t allow our kids to have packaged food as it not fine for the health. The Chapati nachos solve all the issues in a way.
Similar in crunchiness & taste with nachos are prepared using leftover chapatis. Leftover chapatis are little dry so they make better and crispier nachos. You would not get the same result with fresh chapati or roti.
You yourself would experience that the kids will absolutely love it when you serve the nachos with the spicy and yummy tomato salsa. All the leftover chapatis would gone and all the nachos would finished.
You could also store these after they have cooled thoroughly. You could have it on movie nights or take it with you on picnics. So, here is the recipe.
Ingredients:
● 4 no-Rotis/chapatis
● A pinch-Red chilly powder
For salsa chutney:
● 3 cups-Tomato ketchup
● 1 no-Onion
● 1 no-Tomato
● 1-2 no-Sliced Green chilli
● 1 tbsp-Sliced Cilantro
● 1 no-Sliced Capsicum
● 10ml-Lime juice
● 1/4 tsp-Sugar
● Salt as per the taste
● 1 cup-Go cheese grated
Method:
● Firstly, for preparing the salsa chutney, drop each components mentioned under ‘’for the salsa chutney’’ in a vessel.
● Combine it properly & chutneys are ready.
● For preparing the nachos, stack chapatis & cut them in half.
● Next stack a part over the other & half again.
● Again cut them double time to get triangular nachos.
● When the oil turns hot enough, drop nachos & fry them until it turns crispy golden brown.
● Drain them on to a kitchen tissue & spray chili powder & toss it in a serving dish so, arrange the nachos and decorate with grated cheese.
● Serve them with the salsa chutney.
