A snack with the merger of fruit. Yes, you heard it right. We are going to share a snack recipe with you which is going to blow your mind with its taste. The “Banana Uttapam” is spongy with the pleasant flavour and bit sweet. Kids are going to love this snack for sure. And, if your kids don’t like banana then this is the right way to add the banana in their diet.

Ingredients Required
- Banana (Mashed) - ½ Cup
- Rice - ¾ Cup
- Urad Dal - ¼ Cup
- Methi Seeds (Fenugreek) - ½ Tsp
- Powdered Sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Ghee - For cooking
- Coconut (Grated) - 8 Tsp
- Salt - To Taste
1) First, wash the rice and Urad dal and then convert them into a bowl, add methi seeds and let them soak for around 3 hours.
2) After 3 hours, convert them into a mixer and grind them into a smooth paste using around ¾ cup of water.
3) Once done, transfer the mixture into the bowl. Add salt, mix well and leave it aside.
4) For fermentation, cover the mixture with the lid or cloth and leave it for rest for around 10 -12 hours.
5) Once fermented, add mashed bananas and sugar into the mixture. Mix them well. Your Batter is ready.
6) Heat and grease the non-stick tava using little oil.
7) Then pour a spoon of batter on the tava, Give a circular shape to the Uttapa using a spoon.
8) Cook it from the side for around 2 minutes and then add little ghee and put coconut on the top and continue cooking for further 2 minutes.
9) Then flip to the other side and cook until it becomes golden brown from both the sides.
10) Repeat the same steps with the remaining paste.
11) Your Banana Uttapam is ready. Serve Hot with coconut chutney or green chutney.
